Service Description
Now offering at our manhattan location facial acupuncture performed by Dr. Wu - a master acupuncturist with over 18 years hands on experience in healthcare and wellness. He works full time at another clinic and will be joining us. Dr. Wu will be at our office part time only on Wednesdays and every other Sundays, please check calendar for availability. Facial acupuncture benefits include: increased blood flow, collagen production, fine line softening, facial asymmetry, tension relief, TMJ pain, facial swelling, and more. Includes LED light therapy to enhance skin healing and health. Bonus treatment: full body acupuncture to treat other ailments or for migraine headaches can be included in session. Please talk to your acupuncturist about symptoms for body acupuncture. Recommended a discount package of 10 sessions for facial rejuvenation (facial uplift, fine lines, elasticity, facial jowl, and puffiness) Can also be applied for TMJ pain. Packages can be purchased in person. Note: TMJ patients can see an immediate improvement and reduction of discomfort and pressure within 2-5 sessions to start and regular bi-weekly sessions are recommended for maintenance overtime for any flareups. We do not accept health insurance at this time or FSA. It is best to arrive with clean/bare skin with no makeup. A basic facial prep will be provided which includes full cleanse, light facial massage, gua sha, hot towel to loosen up tight muscles, and neck stretch. Please no cosmetics procedures, chemical peels or lasers at least 2 weeks before treatment (ok to do afterwards only). Facial acupuncture uses different and finer (thin) needles than regular body acupuncture, in addition to more needle insertion, there shouldn’t be any pain but for those with sensitivity please be aware that up to 35 needle placements may be used around the face/head.
Cancellation Policy
Important update: All appointments made will now be at our new location on 32nd and 5th ave. in midtown (Inside Savoir). Please try to not arrive earlier than 10 minutes before your appointment time due to staff break hours. Cancellation Policy: All Appointments have a 24-hour cancellation policy, no charges will occur if cancelled or rescheduled before 24 hours. After 24 hours a $50 fee will incur. To cancel/reschedule online, please login to your account. To make changes to your appt. over the phone please text us your name/date. No Show Policy: -Failure to arrive for a scheduled appointment or reservation without prior cancellation notification will be considered a "no-show." -Failure to properly communicate or failure to provide accurate email address and phone number to be reached at may be considered as spam -No-shows will result in full deposit charged for the service booked. -No-shows are considered negligent and multiple occurrences will be subject to further pending approval for scheduling Late Arrival Policy: -Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late for a scheduled appointment may have their service rescheduled. Past 30 minutes is considered no show. -Late arrivals may disrupt our schedule and cause delays for other clients. -In the event that client still wishes to receive service day of late arrival, the length of the session may have to be shorter to accommodate Important information: Please be sure to not schedule closely to your appointment if you've had Botox, fillers, chemical peels, or a skin procedure like microneedling, microblading, dermaplaning, or microdermabrasion within 2 weeks of your appointment. It is our policy to not interfere with skin procedures done at other clinics as overlapping treatments may cause irritation and unwanted side effects. For Buccal or TMJ massage services: If you have an active/healing cold sore or are feeling under the weather, please reschedule only after fully healed and do understand you may be asked to cancel/reschedule without a refund if shown up with cold sores as they are highly contagious. Thank you for understanding. Covid-19 Seasonal Update: We currently are able to waive cancellation fees with a covid test. Please email or call us as soon as possible. We will also take extra-precaution and always monitor Covid mandated updates closely. All therapists will wear masks during peak covid/flu/allergy season and can offer extra sanitizing products to clients upon request.
